Check Out the Latest Trailer for How to Train Your Dragon 2

When most of us went to see the first How to Train Your Dragon film back in 2010, 3D was just becoming the popular new fad. Most theaters didn’t show it in 3D, which left a lot of people without an idea of just how good a digitally animated film like this could look on the big screen (it was breathtaking!). But unless some theaters choose to run a double feature in 3D on opening weekend, this might be your one and only time to see a Dragon film in all of the dimensions you’re supposed to see it in.

From the looks of this trailer, its sequel will be upping the ante, whether you get to see it in 3D or not (you really should). More dragons, bigger dragons, and Hiccup’s long-lost mom? Yes, we saw her in an earlier trailer, and I’m just getting over the fact that they just threw out that major plot point in the first trailer, but this one more than makes up for it. It wasn’t going to stay a secret for long anyway, if the internet had anything to say about it. Of course, a more cynical viewer might see this new trailer as an opportunity to make more dragon toys, but I’m not that guy. I just turn into an 8 year old boy every time I watch it.
