It can’t be easy to find talented musicians on backwater planets like Tatooine*. Figrin D’an apparently has a thing for playing Mos Eisley, because I can’t imagine Wuher’s personal hive of scum and villainy (and watered down drinks) pays him enough to make a decent living. Maybe he’s got a girl in town. Regardless, if this video is any indication, it seems as if the old members of the Modal Nodes have left him for (hopefully) greener pastures. How do I know this takes place after Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope? Ponda Baba texts with only one hand.

And it’s apparent that when the audition call goes out, musicians, Jedi, Sith, and bounty hunters alike will line up to join the most famous band this side of the Dune Sea, including Chris Daughtry, Ben Folds, Liz Phair, Reggie Watts, Mark McGrath, Jordin Sparks, Rick Springfield, Weird Al, Lisa Loeb, and mc chris.
