Jack is on the Attack in a New ’24: Live Another Day’ Trailer

When we last saw Jack Bauer, he was on the run from just about every government on Earth, but particularly from the USA, the country he’s always sworn to protect. Now Jack’s back in a new compacted season that promises to cram twice the action into half the time.

Yes, it’s still takes place in 24 hours of real time. We just don’t get to see all of it this time around. Hopefully Jack will get to use the restroom once or twice amid all the torture and gunplay and “DAMMIT!”

This time around, Jack is headed to London to stop a presidential assassination, but I’m sure that’s just the tip of the iceberg. From what it sounds like in the trailer, his old pal Chloe, now in full-on “Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” mode, and her friends might be in on it. Of course, everyone, including Benjamin Bratt and Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck), figure Jack is the real threat. And while everyone is pointing fingers, the real bad guys have drones and start blowing things up.

While the next phase of Jack’s life was supposed to take place on the silver screen, things didn’t turn out that way. I guess all it took was a little respect for quality 12-13 episode seasons to take hold to get Jack where he belongs, in a weekly balls-out action cliff-hanger-o-rama that ’24’ is known for.
