Zach Snyder Teases Batman vs Superman Batmobile

Zack Snyder, director of the yet to be officially titled Batman vs Superman film, teased everyone this morning on Twitter with a look at the new Batmobile under a tarp in a run down warehouse.

From what little we can see in the picture, the Batmobile has tumbler like tires, similar to what we saw in the Christopher Nolan films, but has a curved, arcing body style, at least toward the back, reminiscent of the Batman films from the 90s. Could Batman vs Superman be a crazy superhero mashup in more ways than one?

Of course, we won’t have to wait long, as the tweet mentions that the tarp could be pulled back as soon as tomorrow. Does that mean we might get our first look at Affleck’s bat suit in the near future as well? Maybe an official title? You never know, but one thing’s for sure: If a competitor’s film is about to be released (X-Men Days of Future Past comes out next week), it’s always good to eclipse that buzz with news of your project. It’s how it goes.

Considering that Batman vs Superman (or whatever it’s going to be called) has barely begun shooting in Detroit, I’m betting we’ll see the biggest chunk of information on the film this summer at San Diego Comic-Con 2014.
