TMNT Creators Eastman and Laird Publicly Appear Together After 20 Years

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird reunited in public for the first time in 20 years for Free Comic Book Day on May 3rd.

According to Comics Beat, the two met up for a signing at Jetpack Comics in New Hampshire and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Of course, it’s no coincidence that TMNT just so happens to be celebrating its 30th anniversary this year at the same time a new TMNT film hits theaters August 12th. And let’s not forget that a comic anthology from IDW to be released later this month, featuring work from lots of comic talent that was inspired by the duo over the past 3 decades.
