Mattel Shows Off SDCC 2014 Doomsday and Hordak Exclusives

Depending on where you spent your Free Comic Book Day this year, you might have been surprised by more than a bag full of free comics by the time you walked out the door. Over on the east coast, the creators of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were appearing in public for the first time in 20 years to sign comic books. Back here in California, Mattel served up our first physical look at two of their San Diego Comic-Con 2014 exclusives at the Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach, CA. It’s no surprise. They’ve been doing this for years, especially considering that the Mattel offices are just a few miles away from the comic shop and more than a few of their employees shop there regularly.

The two exclusives on display included specially packaged Superman: The Man of Steel Doomsday figure in prison suit and a Masters of the Universe Classics Hordak with Imp. Each are priced $35 and $30 each respectively and will be available exclusively at the Mattel booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2014.

More information about these figures can be found at MattyCollector.com.
